- Green bell pepper- 1 (finely chopped)
- Pepper- as per taste (optio
- Garlic clove- 1 (finely chopped)
- Ground beef- 1 pound
- Cheese- 1 cup ( can be any favorite, must be shredded)
1 let’s begin with vegetables, take the instant pot, add onions, oil, garlic, celery and green bell pepper. Set timer for 5 minutes after choosing the saute mode.
2 break the beef into small pieces, add it into the instant pot. Cook for 10 minutes until it’s no longer pink, use the meat/stew option for that.
3 add in chili powder, pepper, salt and oregano.
4 add the beans into the instant pot, strain the tomatoes and add it too. Make around one cup of broth inside the instant pot by adding some water. Seal your instant pot as usual. Set timer to 20 minutes after choosing the “Chili” mode. If your instant pot doesn’t have the “Chili” option, just set it up to twenty minutes on high pressure. You will notice that after ten minutes the pressure will start building inside.
5 okay good, now 20 minutes are over, release pressure naturally, this action will need another 20 minutes ( be patient!!!), open the instant pot and your dish is ready now.
6 you can now serve your beef with some shredded cheese on the top, enjoy!
You can season this recipe by preparing rice inside the instant pot as well, like that you will benefit from the pressure of cooking 100%.
